About Workshop on New Frontiers in Ferroelectrics
It is our great pleasure to announce that the 1st Workshop on New Frontiers in Ferroelectrics (WFF) will be held in Hidaka, Hokkaido on 21-23 February 2012 for 100th anniversary of Ferroelectricity. The term ferroelectric or ferroelectricity was coined by professor Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger as early as 1912. The workshop brings together scientists interested in the fundamental and applied physics of ferroelectricity and related materials. Topics include new ferroelectric materials, piezoelectrics, domain effects, relaxor ferroelectrics, low dimensional ferroelectrics, photoinduced ferroelectrics and multiferroic materials.

Welcome to Hokkaido. We look forward to your pleasant and fruitful stays here.
