Research of fundamentals between microscopic atomic arrangement and
macroscopic properties in dielectrics and its related novel materials. Stru
ctural phase transitions and critical phenomena are studied by means of
low-temperature X-ray diffraction, ac calorimetry and dielectric
measurements. Special interests are paid recently for new structural
phase transitions in semiconductor ZnO:Li system and ferroelectrics with
electron-phonon coupling.
