History of modern physical sciences group

Our research is in the history of modern physical sciences, among other things, modern sciences in Japan after 1850s ( in the case of Japanese sciences, not restricted to physical sciences). We think that greater importance should be attached to the studies of the history of Japanese sciences and technologies, in view of the recent movement in the real world as well as in the academic world.
