Elementary Particle Physics Group

Members of this group study physics of elementary particles, fundamental interractions, and fundamental physical phenomena of space-time and matters. Four fundamental interractions are known so far and most of them are gauge field theories. Investigations of quantum field theories and their applications are also made in this group. Current topics include unified theory of elementary particles, super string and super symmetry, symmetry breaking in gauge theory, quantum gravity and black hole, and quantum Hall effect. Non-perturbative effects of quantum field theory are also studied.
