Physical quantities relating to the chemical bond in crystals show different values among various crystal structures. We seek correlations between these physical quantities and aim to elucidate some problems in solid state physics based on these correlations. Present theme: Relationships between crystal structure and the mechanism of the high-Tc superconductivity in the cuprates.
