The text should be written with single column with 10-12 point of times new roman (or similar) font. Figures with a proper size and references are also included in the manuscript.

Please remind that New Deadline of submission for the extended abstract is January 7, 2003.

Travel

There are several choices to reach Sapporo. The most convenient way is to arrive at Chitose (Sapporo) international airport. In this case, however, international air flights are limited (Only Korian airline or Cathey airline is available). Arriving at Narita airport or at Kansai airport will be a reasonable choice.

After arriving at Narita (Tokyo) international airport, please (1) take a domestic flight at Narita airport for Sapporo, or (2) move to Haneda airport by limousine bus (110 minutes), and take a domestic flight at Haneda airport for Sapporo.

Arrival at Kansai (Osaka) international airport, and change to a domestic flight at the same airport to Sapporo.

At Chitose (Sapporo) airport, participants are recommended to take a JR railroad train to Sapporo Station (Airport Express, 40 minutes), then you can arrive at the Aspen hotel in only 3 minutes walking. Our staff will take care of foreign participants at Chitose (Sapporo) airport or at the JR railroad station.

Registration and Accommodations

The local steering committee has reserved hotel rooms with reasonably reduced fee. Our reserved hotel is "Sapporo Aspen Hotel" (address: Nishi 5, Kita 8, Kita-ku, Sapporo, 060-0808. Tel. +81-11-700-2111). Price is \5,600yen/per room for a single-bed room and \11,000yen/per room for a double room excluding tax.

Participants, who want to apply hotel reservation, should register through the local steering committee. Deadline for the hotel reservation is January 7th, 2003. Please contact to the local steering committee by fax (+81-11-706-4926 ) or by e-mail.
