We are pleased to announce the RIKEN Symposium “Experimental and Theoretical Applications of Spin-Resonance Techniques to Advanced Material Sciences”. The symposium will be a forum of interdisciplinary discussion on all aspects (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Technology) of solid state physics. The symposium is planned to discuss latest advances and new avenues of research on the following topics:

Physics of low dimensional metals and superconductors
Electron correlations in inorganic and organic materials
ESR, NMR and μSR
Organic molecular science
Theory, modeling and computation
